Brrrr! It's a nice -7F here in Milwaukee today with 30 mph winds!
So, today we look at a warm sunny day in Milwaukee. This blog is about the Rolling Stones show at Milwaukee County Stadium on June 8, 1975.
Chaka Kahn and the Eagles opened up the show for the Stones.
I was hired by the promoter to photograph and document the baseball field before and after the show for damage! Plywood was layed down for the sound mix guys in the center of the field and for all forklift actions. The field wasn't harmed, amazingly!
So enjoy a look at a nice summer day with the Stones and friends.
Stay warm and join us on facebook at Rich Zimmermann Photography.

It is a snowy week here in Milwaukee as we look at Sha Na Na in 1974!
For this show I have no information in my files other than the fact that it was 1974!! I don't remember this show at all! I photographed a lot of shows in my life so some way back are a little foggy.
So, can anybody out there tell me when and where exactly I photographed this show in 1974??
Bowzer and the boys look like they are having fun. Bowzer has his own group these days and Sha Na Na is still performing with a few original members.
Have a great week.
Thanks,

Today's blog is a quick look at the Bob Welch version of Fleetwood Mac.
Here we see the band at the Milwaukee Arena on October 20, 1971. This was the show where they shared the lineup with Rory Gallager and Frank Zappa. I believe that Fleetwood Mac was the headliner act.
The band at that time was being led by Bob Welch on guitar and main vocals. Christine Perfect, who later married the band's bass player, John McVie, was on keyboards. Mick Fleetwood of course is the drummer and Bob Weston is the other guitar player.
Bob Welch had a great voice and we miss him.
Enjoy some old photos and have a great week!
