It seems that I missed putting a few photos of the 1975 Rolling Stones show on my website!

So, here we have some more photos for you all to enjoy from a hot day, on June 9, 1975 at Milwaukee County Stadium. You even get a picture of a long haired photographer with some gear!

Today, no rock'n roll or racing, just some beautiful images of our world.

We were working in the backyard a few weeks back and saw these mushrooms under our pine trees.

It's just a beautiful and rather large creation of nature.

Enjoy something a little different this week and appreciate this world we live in.

At Summerfest in 1974, I had the opportunity tp photograph Harry Chapin. He was a shining star who left us way too early in a car accident in July of 1981.

In 1968, Harry, who at the time wanted to be a documentary film director, directed "Legendary Champions" but music was to become his career.

Harry had such a great voice and his song writing was excellent. He started by playing trumpet and wasn't very good according to a friend who told him that a guitar would be a better instrument for him. At the time, Greenwich Village and New York City where Harry lived, was hot with folk music and guitar players.

In the early 1970's, Harry signed the largest recording contract in history that included free studio time for his nine album contract. That saved Harry a lot of money and that was unheard of to get free studio time.

Benefit concerts and donating money to help fight world hunger were on the top of Harry's interests. The Harry Chapin Foundation was the result of his efforts.

I went through my photo library looking for pictures for today's blog. It surprises me that I haven't done a blog on Robin Trower.

Robin was a founding member of Procol Harum and then went on to pursue a solo career which has been very successful.

He is an amazing guitarist and with vocalist James Dewar in the 1970's they had a few hits. "Bridge of Sighs" was one of them.

In the 1970's I photographed Robin a lot as his played his way through Wisconsin college towns.

Enjoy a look at Robin in 1974 at Milwaukee's Performing Arts Center and at Summerfest in 2009.

Sadly, I must say that James Dewar is no longer with us, but Robin continues to tour the world with a great band. Check him out when he is in your neighborhood and you won't be disappointed!
